Lawrenceville/peddie/Hun/Princeton day school

Currently, I am a 9th grade girl who is looking to apply to the schools listed above. My preference personally is lawrenceville, but we will see how things will play out.
Grades:
In 6th, 7th,and 8th grade, I had straight As/A+s. But this year, I am taking all honors courses, and started to take a bit of a down hill.

The following are my grades of my 9th grade year so far:
Biology-C+
Geometry-A
History-A
Algebra 2-B
English-A+
Art-A+

These are the clubs/ things I take part it
-biology League for my school
-student council
-model congress
- volunteer at a local animal and nursing home

Sports
- basketball have played travel for around five years or so and have been an MVP twice
- golf just started playing around 7 months

Achievements
- debate and speech: I'm am the seventh best debater in the US and the twelfth best speaker.
In seventh grade, I was the seventh best speaker in the US
- As I mentioned before, I have been MVP twice for bball
-I have won many local competitions in speech and debate
- I have done singing competitions
-My poetry has been featured in a book 4 times
Things I do non-competitively
-Dance been doing it for 9 years
- Flute been doing it for around 4 years in school band

All of my teachers like me, alot. Therefore, I am sure I will get a good teacher recommendation. On my practice SSAT's I've done pretty well. I'm sure I will get above the 90%-tile. I am good at speaking so the interview won't be a problem either. Also, I am a good writer so the essays don't concern me. My main concern is that one C+ in biology (it was because one of my family members was struggling from cancerand I was really just lost). In general, how do I look for admission to Lville? What would you suggest I do to get in to a more selective school? How do I look for the other schools?

Please be honest with me! I am applying for 10th grade from a public school with no financial aid. I am also Indian if that plays a role on anything.

Oh my!
You seem incredibly bright, for sure! Your debate will definitely be a hook in helping you get into these schools, and you seem very well rounded. And even despite the C+, schools will definitely take into account personal problems- they are humans capable of emotion, even though the admissions board may not seem like it at times.
You definitely seem like a good fit for most of these schools, indeed!

Thanks, but do you have any idea of how I would get my cancer point across? How would I tell them? @HistoryGeek40

Hmmm, I would have your principal write it down in the counselor recommendation. It’s a legitimate excuse for a small slip in a grade, but nonetheless, you’re an excellent candidate!
