Anybody get their lawrenceville decisions? I was rejected

@blahblahblah424 I just got my decision. I was waitlisted.

Its wierd. I had a alumni and my coach write me a recomendation. Well, at least we both have Peddie! @waveboarder

Rejected. Though I’m not suprised. the AO said that they rarely take new 11th graders and she encouraged me to NOT apply.

Wow PxAlaska, I’m sorry to hear, but it’s true that the current soph class is already overenrolled, so applying as a junior is nigh impossible.

@blahblahblah424 and @PxAlaska sorry about the bad news for you guys too. Hopefully we’ll hear better from other schools. oh, and @blahblahblah424 maybe I’ll end up seeing you at peddie one day! But I didn’t even have the chance too interview at Lawrenceville. We applied to late and they wouldn’t schedule one.

I was accepted! :)

Rejected - Sophomore

@Suffix I’m applying for Sophomore year as well. Maybe they just don’t except too many past freshman year.

Waitlisted-- 11th grade…

And considering their 11th grade class is full, I assume I will stay waitlisted.

I was rejected

accepted! lawrenceville

Congrats! Hope you’ll join us Lawrentians in the fall.

Accepted into 9th grade.

My son who will be a Freshman was accepted!

@MBVLoveless I would have preferred them to say junior class was overenrolled than their actual rejection letter >.< it was a tad bit harsh.

I don’t particularly endorse the way the rejection letter is written, from what I’ve heard…but trust me, the AOs did not mean it to be anything personal :-(.

We had over 80 new sophs enrolled last year, which is a lot. This isin addition to the faxt that applying for a Junior spot in itself is tough–most new Juniors I know are 1-year exchange students from Europe.

My DD will be in form II this coming Fall !!!
Yay!!!

Accepted as a sophomore

My daughter was rejected too. She is considering re-applying as a sophomore. Should we have submitted additional letters of rec? Any helpful hints?
