Rofl! What would they do without concerned parents like us?:)

Rely on those dyslexic student reporters, of course. LOL

Fun making of dyslexia is cool not.

Sorry it was in the same vain as Obama’s remarks about the Special Olympic participant I guess. So non PC of me.

I have had my team on laxpower for 5 years, and I think four games have been off by one goal and one game was a win instead of a loss(The other coach put their JV team’s score instead of the varsity).

Laxpower is great. Only problem I believe: Power Ranking really sucks. We have 90 teams getting beat by 70 teams… It just isn’t really accurate.

It’s still the best LAX ranking available atm.

At the end of the year the top rankings are pretty solid – they scrub it pretty well. Baldo, who runs the site has mentioned in the past that no one should really pay attention to the reankings until all teams have played at least 5 games.

Baldo?? !!!

Yea – I think he runs the program at Daniel Hand HS in Madison, CT.

Middlesex took a tumble in the rankings this week. “strength of schedule”

This is my problem with the rankings. My town school played #6 last night. They are in the same league, thus play the same teams (distance between the schools is 20 min),both went into the game undefeated. Lafayette beat my school 13-9, after trailing most of the game. Lafayette is 6th, my school is 101.
How can that make sense?

Look at the goal differentials. You’re school has played some relatively close games while Lafayette has blown everybody out. There are several schools that are in between you guys.

You’re right. Still, quite a difference. I haven’t been following it very closely now that my son isn’t playing. Last year our team won the sectionals (over Lafayette), only to fall to Corning East (or West, can’t remember).
Anyway you rank it, it is great lax up here.
