<p>Sorry for a bit of an idiotic question here. I want to start learning Japanese when I get to uni. I'm thinking of doing my Graduates in Japan. The closest thing I found was Japanese Language and Literature. Does that teach the Japanese language from scratch or what? I think I saw somewhere that a requirement for it is passing a Japanese test. I really want to learn Japanese. I appreciate your help ^_^</p>

<p>I hear pretty good things about Rossetta stone, of course the best way to learn is by immersion though. </p>

I want to get my graduates and Japan so i want to learn japanese but i also want a diploma for it :P</p>
