Hi everyone!

I'm planning on taking SATII Physics and Literature on December 3. Of course, I won't really start preparing until after this November examination.

So, I will have about 3 weeks to really learn the material. Is this feasible? How much time am I lookin at putting into this? I have a thorough background in chemistry and mathematics, so I'm hoping it won't be that bad.

My plan is to go through the Princeton Review book and skim parts of Sparknotes online...

Also, our AP Physics class covered almost all of kinematics so far... so I'd still have to learn lots of other material like electricity/magnetism/optics, etc...

What do you guys think? Any success stories? Should I drop it? Thanks!

3 weeks? 3 monks netted me a 770 (october) although I feel I could have done better and didn't focus as hard in September. Although, since you've mastered kinematics, it can't be that bad (my three months started from nothing). Take a bunch of practice tests.

I am in the same situation. What would be the best book(s) for a month of preparation without much background in physics?

When I had only Barron's and Kaplan's, I vastly preferred Kaplan's way of explaining things, but as a preparation tool it's not that comprehensive. I would probably suggest Princeton Review.

Oh, I meant three months in my last post. Three monks have done nothing for me, ever ^_^

i took it after a whole year of honors physics and got a 760
