LEDA Scholars 2013 Thread!!

Just put unweighted. They say they prefer it for the junior GPA but they don’t say whether or not they prefer it for cumulative GPA which is why I asked my question…

Would it be okay to put weighted? My school doesnt have unweighted GPA info.

Sent from my PG86100 using CC

They give you an option of putting weighted, so I’m assuming it’s okay. I don’t think it’ll be much of a problem if you put weighted vs. unweighted, but I guess I can’t be too sure.

So we have to do the commulative GPA and just the junior gpa?

You have to do both.

This application is taking me a long time to finish…anyone out there done yet?

How long should the short answer response be? It says minimum 250 but how long is too long? Any ideas?

I have no idea either, I haven’t even finished that yet. I’m assuming there’s no limit though, but they do want a “short essay.”

Did anyone find out if there is a word limit?

Anyone else submitted their application?

Just a while ago! And I found out that the word count had to be 250-550 words if anyone is still working on it!

I went over the limit then. My essay was around 650 words but I hope they don’t count that against me.

I’m sorry :frowning: Hopefully it won’t affect anything. I finished my essay and everything and read the email with the instructions again. I had to cut it down by 100 words…:stuck_out_tongue: Good luck to everyone!

My essay was around 500 words and I just submitted it yesterday! I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed until April when we find out whether or not we made it to Part III the Interview!!

Does anyone know an exact date when we will hear if we made it to part 3?

Nope, but I looked at old LEDA threads and they received notification in early April…I can’t wait! :)

Ahh me either this month is going to drag!

All I need now is to be patient  I will get in.

OUH this waiting part is the most stressing part.

About three more weeks, right? :)
