I was just curious, how many legacy students apply for financial aid? I'm assuming not that many do because their families are more well off on average, but if anyone knows if there is a substantial number of legacy students who do apply for financial aid, please reply. Thanks.

My roomie is a legacy and has a great aid package. I think that they apply at a similar rate to the non-legacies! I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

@PinkPenn I really want to go to UPenn, but my parents don’t think that they’ll be able to swing it if I get in next year. Both of my parents went to college, I’m not a legacy, online calculators say we won’t get anything from the FAFSA, and I’m white as chalk. Do I have a shot at any aid?
