Yo yo holmes. Both my Dad and my uncle went to Princeton. They both played basketball there and we very good. My dad helped them get to the Final Four and my uncle went on to play in the NBA. Do you think that this helps me if I apply there?

who is your uncle?

Being a sports trivia/history buff, I am pretty sure I know who your father and uncle are, but I won't hum their names. Legacy can help at Princeton and considering they got to the final four only once, it is at least a point that should be mentioned. Nevertheless, legacy is only one plus factor and you still have to be a very good student; also, applying ED (that is "early decision" and not a familiar first name) would help because that is where legacy is given the most consideration. Now if you tell me you are also related to Bill Bradley ...

Cookie, this is your third thread with the same damn topic. Why don't you stop wasting our time.

Very good drusba. "I won't HUM their names." Funny. How did you find out about them?

John Hummer
Ed Hummer

If it is legit...............

Figuring out who they were was not that difficult. When you play sports question games with others who also try to master trivia, Princeton often comes up when doing NCAA basketball because it got to the final four only once and, more important, because of Bill Bradley. Thus, it is always helpful in such mental games to know the members of the "iron five." From there it was just a matter of matching one of the players other than Bradley with one of the small number of Princeton players that ever went to the NBA and actually your "uncle" is a name I am more familiar with because of his venture capital business and involvement with Napster.

I will even give a serious answer to your question. If you have the stats to get in to Princeton, and especially if you play b-ball then I think it helps you HUGELY. At a school steeped in tradition, the idea of having a 3rd "Hummer" playing Tiger bball will be nearly irresistable! You don't have to even be a star, just good enough to make the team. Also note that the current AD I believe played on the 65 team. If you don't play b-ball... it helps but not as much.
There is a young man playing bball in NJ whose father attended Princeton. It is assumed that if he wants to attend he will go there. It helps that he is 7 ft 2" tall!

(For me, I just matched same last name on 2 short lists. If your father and uncle had different last names I wouldn't have been able to figure it out)

Cookie you are full of crap and you are wasting everyone's time by repeatedly posting the same thread.

Listen chodeface, I don't need you to confirm whats true in my life

First of all what the hell is a chodeface? Your grammar is horrible. I wouldn't have had a problem with you if you would not have started the same post 100 million different places.
