I know for some schools legacy status is a factor for undergrad admissions, but how about graduate admissions? Surely they're not asking "Did your parents or siblings attend XX?" for nothing...?

Does not matter at all. If George W Bush had applied to Yale as a grad student, they would have used his application to line rat cages in the bio labs.

similar question, if you go to grad school at say yale, but went somewhere else for undergrad, can your kid have a legacy advantage for undergrad?

It depends. Some universities count graduate school attendance for legacy admissions and others don’t.

I have not filled out a grad application that asked if there was any alumni connection. They don’t care.

As far undergrad legacy status, if you give enough money, anything is possible.

Interesting, well I am. It’s a private school FYI. My next question would be, do they verify it? And how? (parents linked to your social security number?..)

I would think so, after all the question simply asks “Did your parents attend ___?” Does not specify for grad or undergrad. But again it would all depend on whether they check.
