legacy...

Does legacy only help your chances if your parents/grandparents went to a school? Or does it work for Aunts/Uncles/Sibilings...

I'm asking because I have a brother that goes to Harvard with a pretty good record and reasonable connections and I was wondering if that would help me out..

I'm wondering the same thing about the aunts/uncles. Does it count for cousins, too?

still waiting for a reply :9

You need to check the websites of the individual schools. Many schools limit legacy to parents; some include grandparents; a few might include siblings. I've never heard of one that formally includes aunts, uncles or cousins.

"Legacy" at Harvard means that your parents graduated from Harvard or Radcliffe College.
