Legal Studies or "Law-Related" Course Recommendations

Hello,

I am an entering transfer student who is interested in pursuing legal studies.

However, I intend to follow the advice that was iterated at CalSO and ease into my transition to Berkeley by taking a lighter/easier course load for my first semester.

In the fall, I plan to fulfill my premedical requirements and take two upper division legal studies courses.

Since there are no legal studies peer advisers available in the department for me to ask, does anybody have recommendations for any "easier," or "relatively less work," upper division legal studies or law-related courses?

I really appreciate everyone's help.

Are you pre-law as well as pre-med?

Perhaps it is worth noting that majors in physics/math, economics, philosophy/theology, international relations, and engineering are the majors who do best on the LSAT.

However, many of the courses for these majors are not generally considered “easy” (although math, economics, etc. courses that do not have labs tend to be less work than physics or engineering courses with labs).

Thanks for the reply.

I am not prelaw, just interested in the legal studies program.

Essentially I am asking if some upper division legal studies courses are notably easier than others.

I appreciate the contributions.

ummm well i am signed up for legal studies 138 but i don’t know if it is easy or not, it just sounds really interesting.

ugba 175 with professor Ross is an excellent pre-law class
