They aren’t offering financial aid or scholarships to students admitted from the waitlist
Yeah I received the same email on Monday
Same
Anyone else get off the waitlist?
I haven’t heard of anyone else getting in yet since that email went out last week. Have you heard of any movement at all?
Crickets since the beginning of last week.

I recently received an offer with my financial aid package/scholarships though I am still on the waitlist. I’m assuming that this means I’m accepted?
Did they email you and offer you a financial aid package or was it an admissions offer along with financial aid?
How recent? This week?
My son received an email today about if you remain strongly interested and are willing to make the commitment to attend if admitted please email the director of admissions. Also, it says to copy your parent and guidance counselor so I will know they are aware and support your willingness to commit.
So, what is this email really saying you will be admitted or just another email to rope him in and have him continue to wait?
He already committed to BU and after not hearing from Lehigh (his #1 choice) for 3 weeks now it’s been very hard dealing with the ups and downs of this whole process.
Is this the same email that you received?

Hi!
I received the email yesterday from the Dean of Admission to express my intent to commit, as they will only extend the offer to enroll off the waitlist if you are sure to accept that offer. Like the others here- I replied immediately, and today I am officially a Mountain Hawk. School of Engineering!!!
Have you gotten anything yet?
None
Me neither. I had put it aside for awhile and then they sent that email out and i started getting a little bit hopeful, (stupid, i know), and now i’m just getting disappointed all over again. I never thought being on the waitlist would play with my emotions so much😟
The way they worded their email - “we encourage you to continue to stay on the waitlist” is misleading and giving people false hope. Why can’t they just say so if they are at capacity?!
I know i was saying the same thing. Plus ngl, how they are emailing people from the list and making them “commit” “in front of” their parents and guidance counselors first before even sending the official offer is I’m sure dragging out the process even more, just for their own data manipulation benefit. As if we haven’t already shown enough dedication at this point. We have to learn to “accept rejection”, so maybe they should lead by example🤷♀️
