When lehigh says they meet 100% of demonstrated need for their Early Decision applicants is that what they think I can afford or what I actually can afford
Need will be based on the FAFSA and CSS profile. If you tell them you need $30,000 and they determine you need $15,000, 15k is what you will get.
My grandpa left me a 529 in his will so the fafsa says I don’t need anything but my 529 only covers 3/4 the tuition and my parents aren’t paying the rest so I was wondering if that 1/4 will be covered
Are your parents not paying because they don’t want to pay, or is it because they can’t pay? If they have sufficient resources, the school is not going to cover the 1/4 that is not in the 529.
Meets full need means the school will award what your demonstrated need is. It may be more than what your parents are willing to pay. In which case you are out of luck. The award will also include federal loans.
