Let’s get organized!

I just got little see through bins with handles for my fridge for all those little jars that don’t fit on the door.

I also did a forced reorg of my pantry when I saw evidence of mice!!! ((BLECH!!!)))0

I have one drawer/bin for my fridge that I ordered off Amazon. Our fridge is a side by side too and stuff does get lost in the back, so this was an attempt to help with that and it has helped, but it bugs me that the drawer is not the same depth as the fridge.

I may need to try that. I do have a clear bin on bottom shelf that helps but never though about a fridge lazy susan.

Need to do a good clean out of my fridge and pantry. I might try a lazy Susan for the top shelf.
Drawers need a good cleaning out again. I’m guilty of just shoving things in once it starts to get messy.

I’ll post a pic when I get home. Who knew something so simple could make me smile upon opening the refrig!!!

Abasket, do feel that you lost much capacity with the lazy Susan? Our top shelf is always jammed full, but I would still like to try something to make it easier to access the stuff at the back.

I obviously won’t be stacking things on top and it’s relatively new but right now I’ve found myself doing less digging which is a pleasure. The unit itself doesn’t really take any more real estate (probably less) than if the jars were just placed on the shelf.

Good to hear; thanks!

I’m now wondering if I should order Lazy Susans of some type to use in my corner cabinet Lazy Susan! I ordered a single wedge shaped holder, and it really isn’t large enough at all. Meaning there is quite a bit of extra space between the back of the wedge and the edge of the Lazy Susan. It was really difficult to understand the measurements online (at least for me). I don’t think they may any wedges as large as my Lazy Susan needs. I’m really still not efficiently using that space. Just can’t figure out how to.

This is holding 6 jars - a couple (including the Costco size jam!) are larger. 5 around the perimeter and one smaller one in the middle.

Walmart has some pretty nice refrigerator lazy susans. Clear with fairly high sides .

I paid $7.99 for mine at TJMAXX

I found adjustable plastic drawer dividers for my freezer. Much better!!!

I also had a forced reorg of my pantry after finding evidence of a mouse (eeek!!) and I included a picture of the fridge with see through bins.

All of this organization makes my heart sing :grinning:.

When we redid our kitchen, I had a kind of a useless wall - enter my floor to ceiling 5 foot wide pantry. But only 12 inches deep. Or as I call it, 3 cans deep. It is great because I don’t “lose” canned goods any more.

And all my small appliances (Kitchen Aid mixer, food processors, etc.) fit in it as well.
