Lets talk WEATHER.

Hopefully the weather is nicer in the Maryland/DC area, that’s where I’ll be for the next 5 days. It’s way too humid up here.

New York City, right now, is horrible. It’s usually gets above 95 once or twice a year. Last week, it went above three times. Crazy. First we don’t get snow, now we get heat. Dammit global warming! :(

Currently at 10:30 pm in the Phoenix metro it is 102 degrees.

Dude, welcome to the pain I’m experiencing right now ^
Thank goodness for AC!

It’s hailing here. Incredibly hard. In july. I despair.

lol lucky!!!

Finally some freakin’ rain around here! We’ve been getting watches and warnings for WEEKS, but this is the first time in a long time we’ve actually had some decent rainfall.

Maybe someone rain danced? ;P

You have no idea how much I want to go run around in my garden in the rain right now, in my pjs. I’m just in that sort of mood, even though the rain in torrential and its 10pm here. If there was a way of doing it without my parents knowing I would be out there now.
Yay for weather induced wierdness…

Wait until they go to sleep.

^ My plan, but it stopped raining

don’t judge me people

it finally cooled off to normal temps here this weekend, but still no rain. It rained about an inch overnight about a month ago, but that’s it since late May (normal is about 4 in/month in summer).

It’s been dry enough to cancel fireworks shows and put a ban on burning and watering. Cornfields are looking puny too, and some ponds and rivers have almost dried up.

I;m in Frqnce qt the moment qnd it got to 40 celsius (104 F). I qctuqlly melted qs I;m so used to the moderqte british weqther.

I:m on q French keyboqrd, so sorry for the rqndom Q/As qnd punctuqtion

I’m still debating whether or not I should disclose my location to you people.

Hurhurhur~! Get it? “Whether” or not…

Oh dear god, it is hot as hell in Phoenix. Temperatures are reaching 114° daily. We have an excessive heat warning this week. -_-

@Swinter it was 109 in Tucson yesterday. I heard PHX hit 116 a few days ago…

Swinter, we flew into Phoenix two summers ago and drove out of town in a rent car. I thought the digital thermometer was broken, because the temp kept going up and up, until it hit 120. We watched the news that night, though, and discovered it had actually gotten that hot. I don’t know how you guys survive that!! I think ten below zero pales in comparison to that.

I love the common excuse, “But it’s a dry heat!”

Oh no, I’m a total wuss when it comes to the cold. Below 80° and I’m all bundled up. The heat sucks, but cold is much worse. Winter here is like 60° haha.

@rspence yeah, a super HOT dry heat!! open your oven after it’s been preheated and stand by it. that’s how it feels outside!!
