Hey guys,
I am currently finishing my letter of purpose for graduate schools. I had a lot of things to write (background, academics, internships, undergrad research, research and career goals, etc.). I pretty much made it to full 2 pages, single spaced, 12 pt Times New Roman.
I am pretty happy with it. The problem is that I have no space to put a header. And I really don't think that taking off some of my achievements is worth putting that stupid header which occupies like quater of a page. That thing seems meaningless, all applications are online nowadays, they can find all my contact information, and surely know who they are themselves.
What do you guys think? If I don't include the header, and just write a typical "Sincerely, My Name" at the end, will it hurt me?
Thank you to everyone responding to this

Why would you put a header? Most graduate schools want a statement of purpose, not a letter, and therefore you don’t need a header or a salutation.

@CamberGirl, thread is 2 years old- decision is probably made
