Letters of rec/confusion about FERPA

Hi!

I’m currently a freshman in college. Last year I waived my FERPA rights (as most applicants do) but I’m a little confused about what that means for me now that I’m done with the college application process. My school saves forms after matriculation and I was wondering if its still possible to access my letters of recommendation even though I waved my rights. I don’t really have any pressing reasons to see them tbh I’m just curious about what my teachers said about me (I got along really well with both of them and I like reading nice things about myself lol).

Thanks!

Nope. You waived your rights.

Depending on the college, you may be able to see your application file, which may or may it have AO notes But your LoRs will not be included.

No, waiving your rights isn’t a temporary thing.
