<p>I am applying to UCSC and i was wondering if i have to send in letters of recommendation or have my school send my transcript? if so how do i go about having them sent? if letters of recommendations not mandatory are they recommended?</p>
<p>The UC system does not require transcripts until after they admit you. They do not accept any letters of recommendation and do not review them if sent.</p>
