<p>Can I get a letter of recommendation from my speech and debate coach? She's technically my teacher (I TA for her), but I want her form to be based on her experiences with me as a speaker and debater, not her TA (lol).</p>
<p>Does it work out? Or does she need to specifically acknowledge that I TA for her or what? And if I can get a letter of recommendation from her, would it be like any other teacher or do I have to follow a special and separate process?</p>

<p>well it is recommended that the letter of recs are from teachers that you had throughout your hs years. if your speech/debate coach is your teacher for one of your classes then it is fine getting a rec from them(assuming class means you get a grade on that class). if not then you can use that rec as supplemental letters of rec(extracurricular activities rec) to follow along with your teacher recs.</p>
