Letters of Recommendation

<p>Hey everyone. So I went to a huge undergrad university and am in the process of applying to several grad programs. I did get to know some professors but I wasn't the kid in office hours 24/7, I was an RA among other things, and just didn't need help a lot of times (I promise that wasn't meant to sound pretentious). I've been out of school since graduation (May) so here's the question:
Will having mostly all work related references hinder me from getting into a program? My employers, etc. know me very well and can write great, detailed letters. If I am lucky I may get 1 or 2 MAYBE to submit. Any advice/suggestions? I'm really worried! :(</p>

<p>Depends on what kind of program you’re applying to. If it’s straight academic degree (like MA, MS, PhD) then professors and other PhD holders come first. If you’re aiming for a more professional degree, then perhaps your employer could be the 3rd letter.</p>
