Letters of Recommendation?

I recently decided to explore the possibility of transferring next semester as a second semester sophomore but the biggest hurdle I am trying to work out is my Letter of Recommendations. Freshman year I never really got in close with any professors because I was in mostly large lecture classes that has upwards of 150 people and the professors had office hours during unreasonable times (for me). But I had a few professors in mind that I am not all-to sure about asking for a LOR. I am asking if its a good idea to ask these teachers. I am only asking two teachers who I feel have the best chance at writing a good LOR. I would like to transfer into the computer science program at these schools: UM- Ann Arbor, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Stony Brook, Cornell (CAS), Lehigh Uni, and RIT.

Teachers:
(1) Was my spanish professor first semester last year. I got an A- in the class but put forth a good amount of effort and she still recognizes me out of class. I.e. my friend told me, who is in their class, that she had asked if someone was in my class (specifically stating my name). Did not go to office hours too much but I tried to be really nice to her because she was incredibly outgoing to me.

(2) Was my physics teacher who taught me how to use a particle accelerator over the summer break for about a month. I know this is not too much time spent in his class but it was a small class of 4-5 and I feel that enabled him to get to know me a little better in the classroom. Plus we spent sometimes 7-8 hours doing labs with the accelerator. Got a B in the class but it was a tough class and he is the head of the physics department at my school.

I just want to thank you for reading this and [Hopefully] responding!

This is actually really important, so any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Why don’t you ask them both?
