Letters of Recommendation

I know VT doesn’t really care much about letters of recommendation, but my teacher and my counselor both sent letters of recommendation to VT when I only asked my counselor to. VT wants at most one letter of recommendation. If two letters of recommendation are sent for me, will admissions officers look down on it and possibly reject my application, or will one or both just be ignored?

You won’t get rejected! I don’t know specifically VT’s process, but other large universities have a group other than admissions who do nothing but sort through all the documents, scan and digitally file them and it is at that time that all extraneous documents are thrown out and never even seen by the admissions person. Again, I don’t know if that is how it is at VT.
