letters of recommendation

Neither D nor I have been home lately during school hours to call the schools and ask this.
We have a few rather quickly approaching application deadlines for auditions and they want letters of recommendation. I know that for regular academic letters of recommendation, it's very formal and the student should give the teacher a list of how many letters needed along with stamped addressed envelopes and the form that they waive the right to read the letters, so that the teacher sends them directly to the admissions office.

They don't give any details about letters of rec for theater other than that they are looking for people who have worked with the student (directors, drama teachers)

Is it the same procedure? Does she need to get the entire list of rec's she'll need for the upcoming year (some won't need them till much much later) and give them along with the envelopes, etc, to the directors she needs to ask this week, or can they just do one letter she can copy? They don't seem to have the form and the waiver form like the admissions do so I am thinking she can just have a copy, non sealed, but I don't know.

My recommendation is separate letters for each program. Since almost all are done on computers it is not difficult for some one to make a few adjustments and print. When we requested letters we typically provided information about what the program highlights so they can stress some items. All of DD’s letters were confidential, sent directly by the person and we informed them that we would not see what was written.
