<p>I am thinking about applying to some liberal arts schools, but I am not sure if I am a liberal arts person. I want a well rounded education, but I am not sure if the size of a LAC is right for me.</p>
<p>For what reasons would you tell someone not to go to a liberal arts school?</p>
<p>I would tell someone not to go to a LAC if they were interested in pursuing some vocational career that required a separate technical education such as cosmetology, criminal justice, or construction, etc. </p>
<p>Otherwise, having a liberal arts education does not close any doors, and if you are looking for a well-rounded education, it might be the way to go. Not every LAC is small and rural. There are a few larger schools, and there are many that are in urban/suburban areas.</p>
