<p>So.. what is the guess on the name of the library? And why the big drum roll of surprise? Long time benefactor to the school Donald Axinn died in the fall (so the timing might be right), but would he have wanted multiple buildings named after him? And the only reason his name came to mind was how the term "very good friend to the college" seemed used with his name a lot. Just wondering if there were any good guesses out there just for fun.</p>

<p>Second, What do people think of the unanimous vote on gender neutral housing? Personally, I think suites with six guys could use a room or two of girls if only to hold everyone to a higher standard. I am not slamming guys, honest. It's just that I can't imagine any 6 guys living together and not having clutter (at least) issues.</p>

<p>And libido? I got nothing. But alliteration usually sounds best in triplicate. :)</p>

<p>No guesses on the name, but I think my Middlebury education had a very positive impact on my libido.</p>

<p>Turns out it was named after Jim Davis from the class of 1966. He is the Chairman/Owner of New Balance Shoes. He’s been a lifelong supporter of the school and one of his children graduated in 2008. He praised Middlebury for it’s fiscal planning during the recent economic downturn. Thanks Jim Davis.</p>
