About ten years ago, I did a concurrent enrollment of high school and community college. A few years ago, I attended a different community college, but didn't include on my application that I went to this other school. I'm going back to the more recent school because I've decided I want to get into veterinary school. My GPA isn't spectacular, but I have few enough credits overall that I can do something called an academic renewal, which will allow me to replace all my old grades with new grades.

Here's the problem. I know that I need to tell my current school about the previous school, but I'm afraid I'll get kicked out for not being honest on my application. What should I do? Is there a way for the school I want to transfer into to find out about my first school? It's a pretty competitive program so I imagine there must be some sort of background check. Does anybody know about this? Has anyone here gone through fixing this sort of thing? I want to deal with this the best way possible.
