"Life at Wellesley" online chat

Date: Wednesday, March 7
Time: 7 to 9 p.m. EST

Anyone else planning on being there?
I might as well because I've missed, oh, just about every other Wellesley chat they had.

yea. i'm planning on being there...if i don't forget ;0

Are all applicants invited to these, or just the ones who received likely letters? For some reason I seem to have stopped receiving emails from Wellesley, even though I used to get them in the past.

I don't know, but my e-mail started off with "Congratulations on your positive Early Evaluation from Wellesley College!"

So maybe it's for EEers/already accepted EDers only?

That makes sense, thanks! (I'm RD.) :)

Guess it is for you accepteds (and likely's?) out there. I am a maybe.

Oh I just found out new information on it.
It's an "early evaluation student" chat.
So from what you guys are saying I guess it's only for EE likelies and not the EE maybes?

Damn I missed it. LAME.

My daughter missed it due to prior commitments. Anything interesting to report?

Yeah, what did you learn?

I had other things to do at the time, so I signed into the chat, but didn't participate. But I was able to read the transcript of the chat.

Pretty much basic questions were asked, some that would seem a little tedious to those on here (Is Wellesley a women only college? Does Wellesley have a medical school? Are Harvard and Yale more difficult to get into than Wellesley?)

The only thing I really learned is that the food is good and there's a lot of variety! (kosher, vegetarian, vegan, ethnic, etc)

when I visited, I didn't find the food to be that great but I guess it varies by dorm. there is a lot of variety though
