Lightweight rowing

Hello all... I am a rising senior and I'm wondering what my chances are at my top schools of UPenn, Dartmouth, and Cornell. With my school, I'm not sure what my GPA is because I don't get it, but I know my average unweighted grade for my first 3 years is a 91.8. My sat is a 2290, and my ACT is a 34. My 2k is a 6:29. I'm 6'1 or 6'2 and weigh about 143. Do I have any chances? Thanks for the help.

Hi. Are you in touch with the coaches of these schools? Have you filled out the recruiting forms and emailed the coaches directly with your stats? Have you received any phone calls? As a parent of a lightweight Ivy recruit I would say your 2k looks very, very good for your weight. Your board scores are great. Your chances depend on the connections you have made with these coaches. The time frame is crucial, as pre reads are being done now, and official visits offered soon.

A 6:29, especially as a lightweight, makes you a very desirable recruit for basically any program. Your grades and SATs/ACTs shouldn’t be a barrier for you. Like carolinab says, reach out now if you haven’t already because you seem to be a great candidate at these schools.
