Likelihood of being accepted at Yale and LACs for an international student?

So I'm an American student living in France, and, along with many, have plunged into the application process. My interests lie in English, creative writing, art, and Philosophy.

Everything is very focused in France, so when I chose to take advantage of Philosophy and French Lit. in 12th grade, I could not take any science courses.

GPA:
4.8 on a 5 point scale

Standardized Testing:
-I'm taking the SAT in October, and expect to do fairly well in Verbal, a little less so in Math.

EC:
-Equestrian (all four years of high school): 3 hrs a week + various camps + a few competitions, in which I won first place.
-Piano lessons (6 years) + recitals
-movie reviews for a small newsletter
-some theater
-3 week creative writing course at Brown this summer.
Because of the challenging and relatively crazy French curriculum (we generally have class from 8am to 6pm, plus huge amounts of homework) not much time is left for sports or other ECs - thus explaining the lack of them.

I've written a couple of possible essays, but I still am not sure which subject to pick.

Legacy: my grandfather went to Yale (and MIT and Harvard)

What do you think are my chances of getting into the following colleges I'm looking at, and how good would they be for an English major?

Yale
Princeton
Brown
Middlebury
Vassar
Wesleyan
Hamilton
Bard
Mount Holyoke

I would really like to apply ED somewhere - I've filled out the common app, my transcript and counselor's work is all in order, I just need to refine my essay and make a choice!
Thank you for any feedback - I'd really appreciate it!

Without SAT scores it’s impossible to say. the French system is very different and scores would be essential to really see how you stack up with the competition.

Yale and Princeton, which accept under 10% of applicants, are incredibly difficult for any applicant without a hook who is not a very top student in their country. Brown is close behind. the others on your list are all quite possible or probably with decent scores.
