Likely/Maybe/Unliklies---What were you stats?

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>I'm a junior, and I really love Wellesley (i'm thinking may be of applying Early next fall). I've also been stopping by the Wellesley discussion board nearly every day seeing updates on how everyone's doing on the Wellesley admit process. For those of you who got likelies and maybes, congrats! For Unlikelies, don't loose hope! </p>

<p>I was wondering if you guys would be so kind enough to put up your stats and EE response on this thread so I could get a good sense of what Wellesley considers excellent in a student. Thank you so much and good luck to those who applied ED!!</p>

<p>3.7UW, 1970 SAT, 610 Literature, 670 US History, 4s on three AP tests and one 2, Girl Scout Gold, lots of technical theatre, good essays/recs/etc but nothing really spectacular</p>

Contest, few math awards, on student gov., art activity leader, debate, peer tutoring, lots of volunteering (battered women's society, can. mental health assoc., religious classes etc.). </p>

NM Commended, AIME qualifier, 3 time French National Exam winner, published in medical journal, medical internship, lots of studio art, 600+ hours community service, rowing.</p>

Extras: Clarinet, German Club, Youth and Government...some leadership, decent involvement, nothing much compared to most here but pretty good at my school.
Awards: NMFinalist, National German Honor Society, some more german awards and school-type academic awards, a couple of music awards and a Youth and Gov. award. </p>

<p>Definitely more of an academic/test scores applicant than extras, but...I do have good personal attributes (recs, essays) and I look good within my school.</p>

32 ACT, 3.98 uw with 10 out of school's 13 AP's, SAT II's 680/720/730, speak five languages, three study abroads and one work abroad, theater, cello, constitution team, lots of volunteering, other random EC's, ok essays that brought unique past into a good light, superb recs. </p>

<p>weak point was definitely EC's.</p>

<p>Which I wrote my essay on. I personally think my essay was probably a high point of my application.</p>

<p>Also had an amazing interview with an Adcom member. Told my mom "I had an amazing time talking with your daughter! She's the best."</p>

<p>Who told me at interview my grades were good enough, thank god! nice lady.</p>
