Hi, I just started a blog (http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=547745567095734577 ) - which has some philosophical thoughts and what not. Should I include that in my resume / common app? or not?

My advice is not to include your blog unless it’s successful and long-running (meaning lots of hits and comments–or a small loyal community of commenters–over at least several years), and it represents a significant output of time and creative energy.

hi
thanks for the advice.

You only have 2 posts on there.

Resume padding alert.

haha good point. then i probs won’t

if you’re a senior, no. on the other hand, if you’re, say, a sophomore, you still have time to build the blog up

Only if you have an impressive number of unique monthly visitors and/or make money from it.
