List of possible colleges to apply to

I am a junior trying to come up with a list of colleges to apply to.

Basic stats:
Female (Asian)
Suburban Philly public high school (highly ranked/recognized)
SAT: 2220 (710 CR, 750 Math, 760 Writing)
GPA: School only does weighted (4.1) Unweighted GPA should be around 3.4
Courses: Almost all honors/APs
ECs: Select Choir/Debate/Swimming/NHS (nothing distinguishing nor leadership)
Volunteer: Lots of volunteering in hospitals/childrens programs/church/library
No major hooks
Interested major: pre-med track
Most likely NMSF (PSAT 225)
Income bracket: 150K+

So far, my list is as follows:

Reaches
U of Chicago
U of Michigan
USC
UNC Chapel Hill
William and Mary
U of Rochester
Haverford

Matches
Lehigh
Case Western
Boston U
Northeastern
GWU
Villanova
Bryn Mawr

Safeties
Syracuse
Maryland
Penn State
Pitt
Delaware
U of Minnesota
SUNY Binghamton
Muhlenberg

I realize categorizing into reach/match/safety is not an exact science, but is there any college that I have grossly miscategorized? (I'm a little worried a few of my "safeties" might not be real "safeties")

Are there any other colleges that you think I should consider?

I do NOT plan to apply to 20+ colleges. My goal is to whittle this down to around 10 or so by this fall.

I am taking ACT next month. What ACT score would enhance my chances at these schools for me? (I'm guessing 35 or 36)

Cost is not a concern as my parents have saved enough for me. However, any merit aid would be a bonus for my parents.

Everything looks fine…Why no ivies ?

You should try to attend the cheapest college from that list for undergraduate since you are going for premed.

For safeties, see if there is any school you like with automatic admission by formula, or automatic merit scholarship by formula (formula based on your academic stats, or NM status). That way, you won’t have to guess based on factors like essays, “level of applicant’s interest”, or unknown-ahead-of-time factors like impacted majors.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/national-merit-scholarships/649276-nmf-scholarships-updated-compilation.html

Most of your list looks good and well thought-out. But I’d lose most of the OOS publics in your safety list, and replace them with more LACs like Muhlenberg (excellent choice, by the way). You could do really great at a LAC known for preparing kids for medical school, and I am sure you will get generous merit aid at many of them. The environment will be much less cutthroat than at some of the more competitive schools on your list. Remember that medical schools care a LOT about GPA.

I really like muhlenberg, haverford and pitt.
case western is also a great school.
I think of all the schools on your list muhlenberg would be the best all around college !
happy, great academics, high retention rate , student teacher interaction etc…
schools like u of chicago should be for graduate school (IMO)

UChicago (IMO) is one of the best schools in the world for undergrad zobroward (although it’s brilliant at grad as well). Let’s go through your checklist:
Happiness, check
Great Academics, you bet
High Retention Rate, at 97%, higher than every college but Yale, I believe
Student Teacher Interaction, fantastic
