List of schools that give aid to international students

Saw quite a few liberal colleges in the list, so I am asking this question.
What is preferable for Chemistry? A full-fledged university or a Liberal Arts College?

if you interested in chemistry as a pure science, either full-fledged or liberal arts should be fine. With lac, you probably have the professor teaching and not some t.a.

Thanks. Who’s a ‘t.a’ btw?

TA stands for Teaching Assistant.

“What do TAs do at a college?”

Hanover College gives out pretty good scholarships too!

You can add University of Minnesota Twin Cities also. They give out Scholarships to International Students bringing down the tution fees to In State level. In any case , their Out of State tution is also very reasonable ( $ 18K only ) .

Plus their Chem Engg program is in top 3-5 in the US. Their Economics & Maths programs are also ranked pretty high.

Hello, sorry for posting here but my when I invited my counselor, he got an invite in his mail and he opted to fill my details online. When he clicked on the link it redirects him on the main page of commomapp with no further instructions. Does he have to make an account? If yes, then how. The only create account link he saw was the applicant one in which there is a column asking whether one is a freshmen or transfer student, which I do not think is correct. Please help.

Hey even SUNY University at Buffalo gives out good scholarships for Internationals…

i wonder if any of these universities offer scholarships to international graduate students like an MBA or MS. I haven’t across many who dole out scholarships to foreign stuudents for masters program. Can you help me out with few names ?

I don’t know about MBA, but for MS, Teaching fellowships or Research fellowships are offered. The general advice is to check out each university’s website individually or to contact them.

does duke university also give merit based scholarships

This list is huge! Are you sure of it OP?

@Kusheddope better you start a new topic about graduate school funding than to divert this one

@attaboy997 Duke only awards need based aid to internationals. It is plainly on the website.

“There are no need-based or merit scholarships available for international transfer students”

Are there any college which give scholarship with an average gpa, but with a good SAT I and II

Yes there are. But just Sat I or ACT is used. There is a list of colleges with automatic awards in the financial aid forum. You have to check that all of them award it to internationals but there are some that do.

Could someone be a dear soul and tell me which of these colleges provide CS as a major?

Most of them do.

Hi, I am applying from India. I scored really badly on my half yearly exams due to SAT prep. So is it possible to send in my first pre boards marksheet instead of my half yearly marksheet?

Does anyone here know how’s Barnard for aid?

Barnard is need-aware for international students. If they accept you they will provide need based aid, but needing aid diminishes your chances of acceptance.
