I searched the forums a bit, but did not find a thread like this. I was wondering if the senior members and members that had a close to if not perfect score could give every1 a list for the best SAT prep books to study from. I have found many on the market but do not know which ones are the best

SAT victory, Barron's SAT 2400, Offical CB Blue book pretty much it

Yeah, Barron's is extremely helpful.

wats SAT victory? i worked with barron's 2400. also, which of these 3 helps with critical reading and writing the best? thx

SAT victory is a book by Cambridge. I got it from my tutor.

I took a look at the SAT 2400, didn't seem too good for me. Had all the basic how to do X problem and strategies. I could find those anywhere free.

I decided to go with the Kaplan 12 SAT Practice Tests.

where can i get sat victory? and to sum1 who has used barrons 2400, how has it improved ur score?

2400 doesn't really have practice tests. Mostly strats ftw

is it just me or is barrons 2400 practice test harder than the real ones?

You mean the practice questions?

After having used Kaplan books, I find them to be too easy - easier than blue books. I would recommend, blue book, princeton review and barrons

the comisar: no the questions on the practice test

Barron's (23rd)is quiet good. And the cb guide is VERY USEFUL

"the comisar: no the questions on the practice test"

Barron's 2400 doesn't have a practice test...

The Blue Book is the MOST IMPORTANT prep book, IMO. I sleep with it under my pillow sometimes. But then I get a stiff neck. So I put it under my bed.

You should sleep hugging it like a teddy bear. That way it will be close to your heart.

Yeah good idea, schrizto. Maybe that way it'll spread its brilliance over to me more.
Maybe I should sew a pillowcase for it, stuff it, THEN hug it! AWESOME!

Aw yeah! A little quilted pillowcase.
