^^Honestly, I think it’s one of those things I’ll never lose.
^And yeah, all those children’s books bored me, so I started memorizing world capitals and geography as well as climatic trends. I know a lot of useless and possibly useful information.

Someone from my high school is going to Indiana next year. What a coincidence.

^ ahahahahahahaha

I loved the World Almanac. I wonder if they still publish that thing.

^^■■■■■, icwhutudidtharr. My brother went to Indiana and dropped out due to slacking and drinking problems.
^Yeah, I don’t check anymore, but I don’t like the Guinness Book though, it’s too superficial.

^ Well, hopefully I won’t be condemned to the same fate. :/

Hopefully, though there’s not much to do there, so you might be spending a few more years with us here on High School Life. Muahahaha. I went there when I was like 7 or 8…the hotel we stayed at was in the middle of the forest or something. The only memories I have of there was the dorm that he had was small, the hotel we stayed at had great biscuits and gravy, we stopped at dairy queen and I had a butterscotch vanilla ice cream cone, and the drive back in the forest was really dark and scary. xD.

HAHAHAHAH pfft there’s no way I plan on sticking around HSL once I venture off to college. I’ll be WAYYY too busy having the time of my life while simultaneously balancing academics to be seen here

(I hope)

Well good luck on all future ventures, but now we must get back to finding ways to be smart. What did you enjoy about the World Almanac? :P

I have a bunch of reading due last wednesday that I haven’t finished yet

I liked the celebrity profiles. My 3rd grade self found them quite fascinating.

Oh, and can’t forget the list of every single country in the world plus their capitals.

Why can’t I remember anything else?

OOOOOh… and didn’t each edition have an updated timeline of some sort?

YES. And they had these fancy pictographs of random facts about agriculture. Yayyyy. haha.

IT’S STILL BEING PUBLISHED!!

[Amazon.com: The World Almanac and Book of Facts 2010 (9781600571237): World Almanac Books, Sarah Janssen: Books](http://www.amazon.com/World-Almanac-Book-Facts-2010/dp/1600571239)

MY LIFE IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE.

I did a report on Swaziland in 9th grade where I neglected to mention that it had the highest rate of AIDS in the world. Probably because all of my sources were like 40 years old.

:O. I think my college essay will be on my love for the World Almanac. I’m gonna buy it at Borders or Barnes & Noble. :]

I did a report on Chile last year, and it was essentially full of awesome.

I did a report on Title IX last year and got a C. It was great.

I got 60% on my Probability Theory test 2 weeks ago

and the Professor gave me an A.

How is that possible? Generous curving? Or did you buy your professor some pizza?

It was in the top 3rd of the class

he was disappointed on the whole. Someone ended up with 117% post curve

Terry Tao forgot the number system. ;x

Which number system? We were working with the reals in that class. My other math class just uses a general field.
