<p>As in lying about something that really hasn’t changed or personally defined your friend? It seems like there would be a better topic more relevant to the prompt since, as bad as it sounds, it wouldn’t be a life-changing event unless they went through with the abortion. Any essay topic could be effective if done really well and I seriously doubt anyone would actually call the parents over such a private matter, but it would require a hell of an essay to relay that as an influential event in one’s life for Hypothetical U.</p>
