LiveJournal

I have a free LiveJournal account. Is there any way I can set it so that when I edit entries I can have the rich formatting options (no skimming through html codes)?

Please ask me if you need something cleared up. Thanks a lot for the help.

didn`t you just set up a myspace or something?

Yes, but the LJ's only for me.

you have too much time. i wish i did.

No, I don't actually. But I wish I did.

it`s okay, i have a myspace and a xanga. no addiction, though.

lol, i used to have a myspace. then i realized i didn't like the people who wanted to be my friends. so it's gone.

aww. you didn`t have to make friends with them.

yeah, i know. it just got to be a hassle though. some guy from kentucky kept sending me friend requests after i rejected him 3 times. apparently he thought hitting on my best friend at WashU's overnight weekend thing qualified him as my friend.

you can block people, too.

oh...i actually did not know that.

yeah, if you block the person on your friend list, myspace doesn`t let the other person know, which is a good thing. =)

oh well. i'm writing my chicago essay right now. maybe i'll start up another myspace once i finish my essay.

i still have a year to suffer before going through my college application process. good luck!

lol, if you're like me, you won't listen, but i'm going to give you a piece of advice anyway. start early...

Back to the original question. If there is I'm not sure, because I've been wondering that as well. Have you checked the FAQ section?

hahahaha. i`ve heard that 2343465423 times, but i always end up procrastinating. ugh. =)

are the rich formatting options only given to paid accounts? it says on the FAQ that customization on the look & feel of the journal is limited for free accounts. i
m not sure myself, actually, because i don
t use livejournal.

No they are available for both types of accounts. Paid accounts have more options to customize the look of their journals.

She means when you write an entry you can do it in rich text (which pre formats things like pictures and font) or in HTML (where you have to put in the commands yourself) But everytime you go back to editing, even if you have done the entry in rich text, it switches back to HTML. I'm not sure there is a way to fix that.

When I post there's this annoying eye next to my title. Is there any way to get rid of that?
