Living off-campus and enjoying it ...

I've heard quite a few stories about Rice Owls who moved into places off-campus after soph or jr year and were so happy that they never returned to their colleges -- except to see friends and maybe catch some meals. They ended up saving money and adjusted well to their new surroundings. Rice is in a very nice area, and finding off-campus places, from what I've heard, isn't that hard.

I hope that all the Owls who find themselves living off-campus for their first time thrive!
They have two worlds to enjoy and balance -- and new ways to spread their wings!

Correction: I meant to say after freshman or sophomore year …
