Does saying you are going to live off campus improve you chances of getting admitted to a particular college?
No. The very selective schools typically want you on campus, and state universities don’t care.
So I am going to live on campus

I don’t really think it impacts your admissions chances…in fact it might make more sense for colleges to like having students on campus so they can collect housing fees to pay for dorm upkeep and the like
