I’ll be transferring to UC Santa Cruz around the ages of 25-26, and they have campus living for transfer students that are either shared or single.
How old is too old to be living on campus? Will it be weird seeing someone who’s mid 20’s living on campus? Is it common to see?
It may depend on the campus, but it wasn’t out of place for GW when I attended. I was 23 when I transferred (nearly 24) and only felt out of place the first year because I was housed with freshmen and a few other transfers. The following year was much better as they let me live in upperclassman housing.
If it makes any sense, I wouldn’t call it “common,” but it won’t be irregular. You’ll be fine!
