Hello,
I was just wondering, If I decide to work for a few years after undergrad while paying off my student loans monthly, then I decide to apply for grad school, can my undergraduate student loans go into deferment until I’m finished with grad school?
Yes, federal loans have the benefit of in-school deferment when you are in grad school.

If this student takes the six month deferral on repayment after undergrad school…then starts payment…
Does he get another six months of deferral after grad school…or does repayment begin immediately when he is done with grad school?
If he uses the full six month grace period, he does not get another grace period after grad school. However, loan servicers will grant an administrative forbearance (upon request) to allow him to delay repayment until the grad school loan grace period is over.
