<p>Is there a place on the web to locate qualified financial aid advisors?</p>
<p>My son has applied to various colleges (some are ivy leagues) and he has been accepted to a couple but he'll only be able to go to his chosen one if the financial aid is sufficient. I have a unique situation regarding low income (although I do have some assets) and I'm now getting questions from the Financial aid offices regarding cashflow etc. I don't want to make a mistake in our discussions and therefore am looking for someone that has had many years of experience working in a University Financial Aid office (with verifications etc) who can give me some advice confidentially. Where could I look to find someone that has lots of experience vetting applications and awarding financial aid packages?
