lofting/raising a bed

ok can beds be raised without buying anything? I think i saw that you could raise them in patterson (they have notches im pretty sure)... can you do the same in columbia hall? Bed risers only lift the bed 8 inches or so but i was hoping to lift it maybe 2 feet so i can stick some bigger stuff like a chair under my bed.

lofting is like my last option, unless i can make it so they only lift the bed 2 feet or so.

thanks

On the virtual tour page it say’s the bed height is 31 1/2". I assume that’s kind of like D’s bed in older dorm. She can raise it high enough to put storage drawers, etc under it but not totally lofted (which is what she prefers). If you don’t want it that high I think you have multiple slots but a good place to ask this is on housing FB page or even on Columbia Hall group page if there is one.

ok thank you so much! As long as I can fit a majority of things under the bed without renting a loft!

With bed risers and setting a bed to the highest setting, you can usually get quite a lot underneath. I know in Maxcy, we could fit the desk (without the hutch on top) underneath the beds.
