Logic Universities (primarily philosophical)

Hi guys,

What universities have programs dedicated to the study of Logic?

I'm thinking primarily philosophical logic, but logic in Computer Science and in Mathematics is cool too.

Furthermore, what are these universities looking for? Are they looking for general research experience? Philosophical publication? I've got the grades part down.

Thanks in advance,

Check out UCBerkeley’s Philosophy department. I know they have a PhD program specifically for logic. A guy from one of my classes is going into the program next year and said great things about it.

Thanks Big,

I’ll be sure to check that school out. Considering the few number of universities I’ve found, I suppose purely majoring in logic isn’t too common.
