So i was taking a look at one of my short responses for my usc application because to be honest, I couldn't really remember what I put on it and i also wrote it in a rush. So reading it was a surprise to me. As I read the last sentence I actually couldn't believe that I wrote that hahaha. here is my short response.

Prompt: Some people categorize engineers as geeks or nerds. Are you a geek, nerd, or neither? Why?

I am neither. The difference between a geek and a nerd has always been hazy to me. I looked online for definitions and to my surprise, the main difference was that a geek is not passionate about academic related things and a nerd is. I prefer to not be pigeon-holed because I like breaking the mold. I love things that are in the geek and nerd category such as video games, programming, movies, and gadgets. However, there are things I love doing that don't fit into those categories. Teaching social skills to people is one of my favorite hobbies and I can see myself doing it on the side for a long time. Body building has also been a part ofmy life for a long time now, and I hope to compete within the next year. On the weekends I enjoy going to clubs, going to the movies with friends, and playing dodge ball on trampolines at my work. But If i had to put myself into a category I would put myself in the watermelon category because on the outside I am firm and I don't let anyone put me down; On the inside I am sweet and have a deliciously-juicy personality.

as soon as i read the last part i was like ><

so what do you think guys. did i screw up or is it not as bad as i think?
