<p>Berkeley has a very widespread reputation because it is strong across so many disciplines, from its top rated programs in Engineering, the hard sciences, the humanities and the social sciences to its top notch MBA program and Law School. LSE has a strong reputation too, but it is more contained. I would give the edge to Cal, but LSE is not slouch in this area either.</p>
