Hello,

I was hoping someone here could help me get an idea of my chances of getting into a Master's Program at the London School of Economics Fall 2015. I've posted on another forum on this site but didn't get a great deal of feedback. Hopefully someone can help.

I'm from the US with a BA in Political Science/French from Wake Forest. My overall undergraduate GPA was a 3.3/4.0, and Major GPA was a 3.6/4.0.

I have a lot of international experience but I was told elsewhere that doesn't make a difference.

Given my lower GPA (the LSE cites a minimum 3.5 GPA, although their Admissions Counselor did assure me that applications are considered holistically), and not entirely relevant work experience (I worked in technology consulting writing proposals, and now in technology transition research and analysis), does it make sense to attend City University of London, to which I was admitted, for a year, still apply for LSE for Fall 2015 and hope that with an overall strong package and hope for the best? Or would it be best to stay in my current job? I am trying to weigh my options.

Many thanks.
