But with this information, do you have any suggestions where she should apply for a possible merit scholarship?

Income for 2008 is $120k year but due to self employment, and the current economic situtation they will not earn that much this year, probably closer to 90k

They are open to anywhere in the US.

Thanks in advance.

When you say a “full ride” - do you mean tuition, room, board, books, etc?

I don’t think there is such a scholarship for those stats. She might be able to get close to full tuition.

Miss St might give close to full tuition and maybe a bit more.

another source might be (but not a “full ride”)

[Alfred University : Financial Aid : Undergraduate Freshmen Scholarships](http://www.alfred.edu/finaid/freshmen/scholarships.cfm)

misswhite, you are a high achieving URM. This will be helpful to you in college admissions. First, I would suggest doing some self test prep and retaking the SATs. This will help you increase your potential for merit aid. Second…look for schools where your stats are above the 75%ile for accepted students. Your chances for merit aid are higher at those schools.

If you are a National Achievement Finalist, you may be able to get a full ride from historically black schools like Howard, North Carolina Central, and Florida A&M.

to try the ACT. There is a test on Dec 12th, and registration with late fee ends on Nov 20th (tomorrow).

Some students tend to do much better on the ACT than on the SAT.

Just a thought. Best wishes to you.

What is your intended major?

I think the OP is posting for a friend… :)
