Looking for computer science colleges partnered with ACE and/or NCCRS

Hi,

I’m writing this question for a friend in Kentucky who is interested in pursuing computer science as a major.

He wants to earn credits from online courses evaluated and recommended for credit by ACE and/or NCCRS. There are online sites where you can do courses and have them transferred to colleges as credit via recommendations of the ACE or NCCRS organizations.

His plan is to take online website courses recommended for credit by the ACE or NCCRS and transfer those credits to a University that accepts ACE and NCCRS credits.

He wants to do the majority of his classes through these online sites, and then whatever courses he cannot do through online sites, to take those at the University itself.

So, the aim is to find colleges that…

1: Accept a high amount of transferable credits from these online courses recommended for credit by the ACE and/or NCCRS.

2: Have low out-of-state tuition costs and where he can take courses online for those remaining classes needed to be taken through the University itself (as opposed to the online website courses).

3: Is essentially a good university that’s not overly competitive.
