Hello there... I'm a current college freshman with a sister who's currently a junior in high school. She's just beginning the college search process and is looking for some suggestions of where to try. As someone who went through the process a couple years ago, I have some ideas on where I think she should look, but was wondering if some CC people would be able to give her some suggestions; after all, the more suggestions the better :D. Right now, she basically doesn't have a list so any suggestion, whether reach, good fit, or likely, is appreciated. Her profile...

Personal Information
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: White/Caucasian
State: Connecticut
School: Small, private with a few graduates attending Ivy League schools and most attending mid to top tier LACs and universities.
Legacies: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Clemson University.

College Preferences
Size: 1,000-15,000 students. A big range, but it's not hugely important to her.
School Type: Private is preferred. Looking for a strong, academic school with not too wild and crazy a party scene (or at least, enough variation that partying isn't a must). Urban or suburban is best, but rural would also be considered. LACs, Universities, and even Tech schools will be considered.
Location: Willing to look it New York (not too far upstate), Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Illinois (Chicago area). Would also consider Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
Majors & ECs of Interest: A school strong in the sciences and music is her main focus. Chemistry and Music are her two potential majors at this point in time. Field hockey would be nice to have as an option (but she's not looking to be recruited) as well as a variety of musical groups.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions and help... they're truly appreciated.
